Custom comb leather case
I decided to make a custom leather comb case for our local superhero Janakis Lindyhopoulos.
I started with a piece of vinyl.
After cutting to size, I started folding the edges and gluing them before sewing.
Next step, sewing.
After some time the case was done and it looked horrible to me, I think it was because of this cheap vinyl stuff.
I couldn’t just leave it like that, so everything went to recycle bin. The process has started all over again, and this time with fancy automotive leather. The glue has been used to secure the material before, during and after sewing.
Some sewing action!
Case can’t be personalized without a symbol, so the one has been made out of copper, heated and put on desired location.
After the channel was formed, the next step was precise gluing.
I used a needle to apply a 0.5 mm thin droplets of glue.
This time it came up right. Hopefully, our dandy superhero will approve it!
