Zagreb Auto Show 2016
After 8-year break Zagreb Auto Show lives again!
Everybody has their own reason for going to the show. For me it’s usually styling, tuning, vintage cars, exotic vehicles that you don’t usually see on the street, or if you do and come close to one of them, somebody usually pops out of nowhere and looks at you suspiciously.
After all those years, seeing that many new shiny cars at one place is really an impressive sight.
But still, I must say I didn’t get quite what I wanted from a show like that. For me, most of the new affordable cars look the same and pretty soulless. As for the tuning and styling, there was only some cars incorporated into the visual setup of the manufacturer’s floor.
Don’t get me wrong, there were some really expensive cars and few of them are real eye candy, but the ratio of exotics and mainstream cars was unbalanced, at least for me. Also, there were bunch of hostesses and I would say that VW was a winner in that category. They had hostesses standing next to the cars, laying in front of the cars, and obviously they used all the space they could, so they decided to put few of them hang from the ceiling (as you can see from the pictures).
Enough talk, here are some photos in the post, thanks Boris!
One of the main stars of the show was Croatian electric super car – Rimac Concept S.
Pretty girls everywhere!
Croatian company DOK-ING had this cute electric truck.
Finally I have found the exact same Hella tail lights that I am using for our Capri on something other than excavator.
In the small oldtimer section it was really nice to see stock vs. tuned version of this Fiat 750.
I was particularly interested into this kind of machinery, because I’m, as you all know, converting Capri to hybrid. More pictures on the link below!
