A commissioned project – a gift for a newly-wed couple! I don’t know these guys personally, but here’s the story – they both dance tango, he’s a mathematician who also plays the guitar, and she loves animals and creepy stuff. Roses didn’t turn out so creepy, but I hope she likes them anyway

I had a very clear vision of what I’m going to do with this one, so I quickly came to the final sketch. A very few details were redefined later in the process.

A color scheme. Didn’t want to put a red color in it, it was just too clichéd.

Here’s the final linear drawing. My geometric people began to evolve a bit, I was playing with the design for a while, trying to keep the simplicity, but also add a bit more distinction into characters. Pretty glad how they turned out.
