Tear it up festival 2018
No time for introduction! This time we’ll throw you right in the middle of the Tear it up!! festival in Medulin, assuming that you’re already familiar with the concept of people playing the music, people enjoying the music, and me trying to operate my camera.
This was our 4th time in Medulin, and Festival’s 10th anniversary. Every year it’s a combination of the good old and some new stuff. Speaking of some good old stuff, let me introduce you to Sonny and his Wild Cows, a Hungarian band who already played there years ago, but also had a chance to see them in Zagreb. Great band, great energy, and btw. love the red suit.
Behind the scenes. I wanted to ask a security guy if I can jump on stage, just to take a better picture, but then I saw that someone is actually sleeping there, so I didn’t want to interrupt. Not like the band was playing lullabies, but still..
I forgot to say that this was Friday night. This time I’ll let the photos do the work
The Same Old Shoes, rockabilly made in Italy.
Saturday. We had great weather like always, a perfect summer.
Rockin’ Bonnie Wester Bound Combo playing at the Terrace Europa.
As always, the place was crowded and hot. Nice to see a bunch of familiar faces.
In the meantime, our hillbillies just got back from the shooting for the King Kerosin brand of clothing. Years of Magnum look practice finally paid off.
Vedran shamelessly stealing my barber appointment.
And keeping the smooth expression all the way.
You could also get a traditional tattoo there. Tempting, but I still haven’t prepared my sketches.
Well, he’s a barber, isn’t he? 😀
When life gives you a beer barrel, call it a brewery and open the shop in the middle of the town.
Saturday night with Nico Duportal & his rhythm dudes. French rockabilly.
The stroll section
This was supposed to be “only girls” photo.
The King Kerosin crew 😀
Just testing new looks.
At the Summer club with The Playboys.
DJ Gogo.
We’ll wrap this up with this romantic photo. We had a great time, as always, the next edition is already announced, so we hope to see you there next year, too!
